The Alpha Marriage Course
building a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime
Developed in London, England, the Alpha Marriage Course is for all married couples, whether they have been married for less than a year or more than 30. Focusing on the positive aspects of a healthy marriage it helps good marriages become better, by strengthening good habits and providing tools for working through any tough issues.
Although the course has a Christian basis the material is widely applicable. Couples without a church background consistently report how they have enjoyed and benefited from the material presented.
The course lasts for 7 sessions. (There is also an introductory Marriage Supper Party). At each session couples have a meal together and watching a topic from the Alpha Marriage Course on video. The video has pauses, for couples to complete and discuss exercises pertaining to the topic (between the couple only, no group discussion is involved!) The video and couple-time last for about 2 hours. When required we offer childcare, so couples can focus on the course. The course costs 5 Euros each, to cover the cost of the manual.
