Throughout the year Mountainview organizes special events, sometimes called bridge building events. These help us deepen friendships at Mountainview and provide important points of contact with the wider community. Garage Sales
Spring and Autumn of 2012

Our garage sales raise funds for a project we support in N. Africa that is helping orphans and unwed mothers.  We are looking for a garage to hold our next event.  If you have a large garage/basement in the NW of Madrid that you would be happy to loan out to Mountainview for a few days please contact us.

Paells Pow-Wow
September 2012

Our annual Paella cooking contest raises funds for Proyecto Bernabé, a project we run in partnership with a Spanish church that is caring for about 120 needy families in the Las Rozas area. This culinary celebration with a Spanish flavor includes Paella (lots and lots of it), an exciting raffle and games for kids.

Thanksgiving Dinner
November 2012

Our annual Thanksgiving Dinner features a full Thanksgiving meal and a feast of live music.  It’s a colourful celebration of the rich cultural diversity we enjoy at Mountainview.

Christmas Café Service

Our annual Christmas service replete with carols and candles followed by a smorgasbord of Christmas food and live music in our café space.
